Programmes on offer:
Pre-service Diploma in Education (Primary) for either Junior or Infant Programme
In-service Diploma in Education (Primary) for qualified teachers who are non-holders of qualifications offered by UZ (2-Years)
Special Education- for qualified Teachers who specialise education of children with special needs (16-months).
Courses on Offer: Theory of Education:
Psychology
Philosophy and Sociology of Education for the Pre-service and In-service Programmes; and
the Theory of Special Education for the Special Education Programme.

Syllabus 'A' for Pre-service and In-service: Principles and Methods of Teaching.
Syllabus 'B' - Content and Methods in the Teaching of Primary School Subjects.
Syllabus 'C' - Comprises the CDS Project, which deals with Classroom Based Research. Special Education does projects that deal with principles, methods and techniques of monitoring children with special needs e.g., the hearing impaired, the mentally retarded and the visually handicapped.
