Personnel

• Controls staff establishment in the Ministry
• Provides guidelines for the assessment of qualifications for salary grading purposes
• Liaises with Non-Governmental Organisations involved in the recruitment of expatriates
• Attends to salaries and wages for the Ministry's staff
• Recruits staff in all grades
• Recommends promotion, demotion and discharge of staff through the Public Service Commission
• Advises on conditions of service
• Assists in staff development and processing of performance appraisal forms
